Pelosi and Reid are both complicit. It is like they are in another planet. The issues are so egregious that there has to be something going on behind close doors.
Just to assist readers, here are a few of the issues with the Democratic leadership:
- Allowing FISA Bill to move forward when it is against the Constitution by allowing warant-less wiretapping.
- Allow War funding to move forward without holding the President accountable for time lines and milestones to bring an end to the war.
- Passage of a Enegy Bill after it was stripped of the tax rollbacks for the largest oil companies. Companies that are making Billions in profits every quarter. This was nota a tax increase. Just a rollback of tax breaks we've given oil companies.
- Dead silence on the Cheney Impeachment resolution.
- Dead silence on CIA tape destructions.
- Dead silence on subpoena matters. No documents or faces have shown up in Congress. This is contempt.
John Conyers is also complicit. It turns out that the Republicans are running the Congress from a minority position. Incredible.
